022-0196 Automatic 6v Battery Charger, 1.25 Amp

The Battery Tender Model 022-0196 is a fully automatic 6-volt battery charger designed to keep lead-acid batteries in peak condition with minimal effort. Whether you're maintaining a vintage vehicle, a boat, an RV, or any equipment with a 6V lead-acid battery, this compact charger delivers intelligent, hands-off charging that prevents overcharging and undercharging.

This charger automates the entire charging process so you can connect it and forget it. Its four-step charging program—Initialization, Bulk Charge, Absorption Mode, and Float Mode—ensures your battery receives exactly what it needs at each stage. Once fully charged, the charger automatically switches to float voltage, maintaining optimal charge indefinitely without risk of overcharge. If voltage drops under load, the charger automatically resumes full output to keep your battery ready.
