Collins Wg5c Square-head Splitting Wedge, Steel, 5 Lbs., 9-1/4 In.

The Collins WG5C is a 5-pound square-head splitting wedge designed for splitting logs and kindling with efficiency and control. This steel wedge features a specially forged crown face that distributes impact force evenly, reducing the risk of shipping and splintering while directing energy into clean splits. Whether you're preparing firewood, processing kindling, or tackling tougher wood-splitting jobs, this drop-forged wedge is built for the work.

The wedge's square head design ensures precise, centered impact with every swing, maintaining steady stability throughout each stroke. Its beveled and sharpened edge means less force is required to penetrate wood fibers, making the work less physically demanding. Drop forging creates a durable tool made with high-quality material.
