Ez Straw Mlezstrawmulch11 Seeding Mulch With Tack, 1 Cu. Ft.

EZ Straw Seeding Mulch With Tack is a processed straw product designed to establish healthy lawns and garden areas. It combines natural straw with a bonding agent that creates tackiness, holding the material together while it protects newly seeded areas. This tackified straw prevents soil erosion and keeps seeds from washing away during watering and rainfall, two common challenges when starting a new lawn or garden bed.

The mulch accelerates seed germination by maintaining consistent moisture around seeds while reducing the amount of supplemental watering needed. Its natural barrier also protects seeds from birds that might otherwise eat them before they sprout. Because the material is biodegradable, it breaks down naturally over time, eliminating the need for cleanup once seeds have established.

Features and Benefits

• Tackified Straw with Bonding Agent: The tack holds straw fibers together, preventing washout during rainfall and irrigation while keeping seeds in place.
• Erosion Control: Reduces soil displacement and protects newly seeded areas from weather and water runoff.
• Bird Protection: Acts as a physical barrier that deters birds from disturbing fresh seeds.
• Faster Germination: Maintains optimal moisture levels around seeds, promoting quicker sprouting and establishment.
• Reduced Watering: The mulch layer minimizes water loss through evaporation, lowering irrigation requirements.
• Biodegradable: Naturally breaks down over time with no cleanup necessary once seeds germinate.
