Proflex Schedule 40 1-1/2 In. Hub X 1-1/4 In. D Hub Neoprene Rubber Shielded Coupling 1 Pk

The Fernco Proflex P3001-150 Shielded Coupling is a durable neoprene fitting designed for connecting cast iron, plastic, steel, and copper pipes in drain, waste, and vent systems. This coupling solves common plumbing connection challenges by providing a watertight, leak-proof joint without requiring messy primers, glues, or their unwanted odors. Its shielded design resists shear forces and earth loads while maintaining improved pipe alignment, making it suitable for both above-ground and demanding plumbing applications.

The Proflex coupling is built to last the life of your plumbing system with elastomeric materials that resist chemicals and sewer gases. Its removable, corrosion-resistant construction simplifies installation and maintenance, while the included 300 stainless steel clamps provide rustproof, quick assembly using just a screwdriver, nut driver, or torque wrench. The transition coupling delivers reliability and performance for drain, waste, and vent piping systems.

Features and Benefits

• Shielded Design: Effectively resists shear forces and earth loads, preventing movement and enhancing joint stability above and below ground.
• Watertight Connection: Made from elastomeric polyvinyl chloride (neoprene) for a strong, leak-proof fitting resistant to chemicals and sewer gases.
• No-Mess Installation: Requires no primers, glues, or special tools—just a screwdriver, nut driver, or torque wrench for quick assembly.
• Corrosion-Resistant Clamps: 300 stainless steel clamps are rustproof and designed to last, ensuring long-term reliability.
• Versatile Compatibility: Connects 1-1/2-inch cast iron, plastic, or steel to 1-1/2-inch copper or 1-1/4-inch plastic pipe.
• Improved Pipe Alignment: The coupling's design minimizes shear and creates a rigid, long-lasting joint with better pipe centering.
