First Alert Hd6135fb Heat Alarm, Hardwired With Battery Backup

The First Alert HD6135FB is a hardwired heat alarm with 9V battery backup, designed for spaces where smoke detectors aren't practical, such as attics and other high-heat zones. This unit combines fixed-temperature detection at 135°F with advanced rate-of-rise sensing, allowing it to alarm when heat climbs rapidly—even before reaching that threshold—giving you precious extra seconds to respond to a potential fire.

The microprocessor-based rate-of-rise technology significantly reduces nuisance alarms while maintaining reliable fire detection. With an 85 dB alarm output, the HD6135FB ensures you'll hear the warning even in noisy environments. Its latching alarm indicator remembers which unit in a series initiated an alarm, and the unit can interconnect with up to 12 other compatible smoke alarms and six compatible devices like bells, horns, repeaters, and door closers, creating a whole-home alert system.

Features and Benefits

• Rate-of-Rise and Fixed Temperature Detection: Alarms at 135°F or when temperature rises rapidly, providing faster response to developing fires.
• Thermistor Heat Sensor: Responsive heat detection technology for this unit.
• 85 dB Audible Alarm: Ensures warning is heard even in noisy environments.
• Two Silence Features: Mute low-battery chirps for up to eight hours or temporarily silence nuisance alarms without disabling fire detection.
• Latching Alarm Indicator: Shows which unit triggered an alarm when multiple units are interconnected.
• 9V Battery Backup: Continues protecting during power outages.
• Interconnectable Design: Links with up to 12 compatible smoke alarms and six compatible auxiliary devices for coordinated home protection.
