Wiregard 22-16 Ga. Copper Wire Connector Gray 100 Pk

Gardner Bender WireGard twist-on wire connectors are designed for connecting two or more copper wires in general-purpose electrical applications. These compact connectors feature a polypropylene shell with side knurling for a secure grip and a zinc-plated inner spring with a tight square profile that delivers quick, secure contact and ensures positive continuity. Ideal for lighting circuits, control wiring, automotive applications, and appliance repairs, these mini connectors excel in tight spaces where full-size connectors won't fit.

The thermoplastic housing resists corrosion and chemical damage from hydrocarbons, diluted acids, and alkaline solutions, making these connectors suitable for both indoor and industrial environments. With flame-retardant properties that withstand heat distortion up to 221°F, the deep-skirt design prevents exposure of bare wire for added safety. The gray color provides quick, easy size identification, while the compact profile streamlines routing through crowded panels, junction boxes, and conduit runs.

Features and Benefits

• Wire Range 22–16 AWG: Accommodates small-diameter copper wires used in lighting, control circuits, automotive harnesses, and electronics.
• Square Spring Locking System: Generates uniform pressure and requires fewer turns to meet required torque, reducing installation time and the risk of loosening over time.
• Polypropylene Housing with Knurling: Provides chemical resistance, corrosion protection, and an easy-grip textured surface for quick installation.
• Zinc-Plated Inner Spring: Resists corrosion and ensures reliable, vibration-proof electrical bonds in humid or challenging conditions.
• Deep-Skirt Design: Shields bare wire and meets or exceeds UL pull-out and dielectric test requirements for professional-grade performance.
• Pack of 100: Provides ample supply for large projects, maintenance tasks, and ongoing professional use.
