Smartlockpro 15 Amps 125 V Duplex White Afci Outlet 5-15r 1 Pk

The Leviton SmartlockPro Outlet Branch Circuit (OBC) AFCI receptacle helps protect your home or business against electrical fires resulting from arc-faults. Arc-faults are dangerous electrical conditions that can occur anywhere in your electrical system—within walls, at loose connections, or inside damaged cords—and are often invisible until they cause a fire. This AFCI outlet detects a wide range of potentially hazardous arc-faults caused by damage in branch circuit wiring as well as extensions to branches such as appliances and cord sets, and responds by interrupting power.

Installing AFCI protection is an important safety upgrade for any home or commercial space. The National Electrical Code now requires AFCI outlets in many areas of the home. This receptacle combines protection with practical design, making it suitable for both residential and commercial electrical systems. Whether you're upgrading an existing installation or building new, this outlet provides protection against arc-fault hazards.
