M-d 48996 Door Sweep, Aluminum & Vinyl, Nickel Finish, 36-in.

A door sweep is a weather stripping solution installed at the bottom of a door to seal gaps and prevent drafts from entering your home. The M-D 48996 door sweep features heavy-duty aluminum construction with a thick double-fin vinyl insert, creating a durable and long-lasting seal that blocks unwanted air infiltration. By sealing the space between your door and threshold, this product reduces heat loss in winter and keeps cool air inside during summer, leading to improved energy efficiency and lower heating and cooling costs.

This door sweep accommodates gaps up to 3/4 inch high, making it suitable for most residential and commercial door frames. Installation is straightforward thanks to slotted holes that allow for easy adjustment and fine-tuning, and all necessary screws are included for secure fastening to the door.
