Pro-span Schedule 40 1-1/2 In. Hub Each X 1-1/2 In. D Spigot Pvc Repair Coupling 1 Pk

The NDS Pro-Span PVC Repair Coupling is an expandable repair fitting designed to quickly fix broken or cracked 1-1/2 inch Schedule 40 PVC pipes in both plumbing and irrigation systems. This coupling solves the problem of damaged pipe sections by providing a reliable, leak-stopping connection without the need for precise cutting or complex threading. Whether you're repairing underground irrigation lines or indoor plumbing, the Pro-Span coupling extends into place for a fast, secure installation that stops leaks before they cause further damage.

The innovative expansion design makes this coupling ideal for both professional plumbers and DIY enthusiasts. The coupling's piston mechanism allows it to grip the pipe firmly while the True-Cut feature automatically positions seals for a watertight connection. Lead-free PVC construction ensures the coupling is safe for potable water applications, and UV inhibitors protect against fading and cracking over time. The dual-seal design provides long-term reliability, while the Easy-Grip handle works effectively even with wet or muddy hands.

Features and Benefits

• True-Cut System: Automatically positions piston seals to eliminate joint-separation stress and ensure a secure, watertight seal on the first try.
• Expandable Design: Extends into place for quick installation without solvent welding to the coupling itself; requires a separate Schedule 40 PVC coupling to complete the repair.
• Dual-Seal Safety Design: Stops leaks before they start with internal high-quality seals that provide long-term peace of mind.
• Lead-Free PVC Material: Constructed from polyvinyl chloride treated with UV inhibitors, safe for potable water and rated for underground use.
• Grip-Lock Technology: Prevents piston from spinning during installation, with an Easy-Grip handle that provides a firm grip in any condition.
• Versatile Compatibility: Works with both metal and plastic pipe sections, making it suitable for connecting different materials and repairing existing lines.
