The Nibco BF0290LT copper pipe tee is a plumbing fitting designed to connect pipes in a continuous run while branching out to a different direction. It features solder cups on the run and female NPT threads on the branch, allowing a connection to be made in a continuous pipeline and branch to a threaded connection without requiring additional adapters.
Copper offers inherent qualities of beauty, durability, and low maintenance. The lead-free design ensures a non-toxic connection, and the construction provides dezincification resistance. Copper's reusability makes it an ideal choice for sustainable plumbing projects.
Features and Benefits
- Dual Connection Type: Solder cups on the run allow reliable joining to soldered components, while female NPT threads on the branch accommodate threaded connections.
- Lead-Free: Provides a non-toxic connection for plumbing applications.
- Dezincification Resistant: Constructed to resist dezincification in demanding applications.
- Industry Standard Design: Manufactured to ASME B16.18 design standards.
