80335 Muffler And Tailpipe Sealer, 3 Oz Tube

Permatex Muffler and Tailpipe Sealer is a thick, non-slumping paste-type repair material designed to seal holes and leaks in mufflers, tailpipes, and around exhaust pipe joints. This specialized sealant creates a durable, waterproof bond that prevents exhaust fumes from escaping at problem areas, reducing noise and improving emissions control.

Whether you're making an emergency roadside repair or securing a new muffler installation, this paste-type formula offers reliable performance in high-temperature environments. The paste resists shrinking and shock, making it ideal for the vibration and heat cycling of exhaust systems. Cool-down application allows the formula to cure properly without setting too quickly, giving you adequate working time to position the sealant correctly before it hardens.

Features and Benefits

• High-Temperature Resistance: Withstands temperatures up to 2000°F (1000°C), ensuring the seal remains intact in even the hottest exhaust environments.
• Non-Slumping Paste Formula: Thick, paste-type consistency designed to stay in place without dripping.
• Waterproof and Non-Shrinking: Resists shrinking and shock for a durable, long-lasting seal.
• Suggested Applications: Mufflers, tailpipes, joints, and catalytic converters.
• Secure New Installations: Makes new muffler installations more secure by creating a strong bond at connection points.
