The SharkBite UC140LF is a lead-free brass adapter designed to connect 1-inch PEX tubing to 1-inch male iron pipe thread (MIP) fittings. This barb-type adapter provides a solution for water supply systems, allowing you to transition from flexible PEX pipe to standard threaded iron pipe connections.
The barb end secures to PEX pipe using cinch clamps or copper crimp rings, creating a firm connection. This adapter is rated to handle pressures up to 160 psi at low temperatures.

- High-Pressure Rated: Handles pressures up to 160 psi.
- Barb Connection: Works with cinch clamps or copper crimp rings for a secure seal that can be tested immediately after installation.
